Isaac Maxmen, DVM
Dr. Isaac Maxmen has been working as a general practitioner at Park Animal Hospital since June 2009. The son of two veterinarians, he was practically raised in an animal hospital and his love of animals was fostered at an early age.
Dr. Maxmen is a native of Longmeadow, Massachusetts, and graduated from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst in 2002 with a Bachelor's of Science in Animal Science. In 2007, he received his veterinary degree from the University of Pennsylvania. His veterinary interests include emergency care, internal medicine and surgery.
Before joining the staff at Park Animal Hospital, Dr. Maxmen worked in Boston and also at an emergency hospital in Phoenix, Arizona. He enjoys the company of a one year old Brittany Spaniel named Huxley and is an outdoor lover who lists hiking, mountain biking, cycling, camping and traveling as some of his many hobbies. Dr. Maxmen is a member of the American Veterinary Medical Association and the San Francisco Veterinary Medical Association.
