Park Animal Hospital Staff Christina, the Operations Supervisor at Park Animal Hospital, joined our team in 2001. She is proud of the high-quality, professional care offered at the hospital and enjoys working with animals. She shares her home with two cats, Jezebelle and Tullulah.

Park Animal Hospital StaffOriginally from Connecticut, Kirk has been part of Park Animal Hospital staff since 1996. His animal companions include three cats named Boo, Butter, and Django.

Park Animal Hospital StaffVeterinary assistant Huy has helped care for pets at Park Animal Hospital since 2007. He is proud to be part of the hospital's caring staff and likes working with animals.

At home, Huy cares for his Dachshund named Torpedo and a number of fish. When he's not at the hospital, Huy is an avid dragonboater and is a long-time member of the Suen Feng Loon Dragonboat Team.

Park Animal Hospital StaffRegistered Veterinary Technician Tiana joined the Park Animal Hospital staff in April 2012 and has been around animals her entire life. She started her own pet-sitting business at age 8, which continues to this day, and became a professional dog trainer at 17 and an RVT at 18. She also has an Associate's degree from Carrington College. Her duties include drawing blood, administering medications, placing catheters, taking x-rays, administering anesthesia and monitoring anesthetized patients.

"I like how we always focus on the health and well-being of the pet over everything else," she said. "We are known to take in abandoned pets and adopt them out to forever homes through our hospital."

Outside work, Tiana spends time at dog parks, beaches, forests, lakes and anywhere she can hang out with her three dogs, Chai (yellow Lab), Coco Rosie (Chihuahua) and Kahvi (Dachshund/Yorkie mix). She also has a cat named Wobbles.

Park Animal Hospital StaffAn office staff member at Park Animal Hospital since 1985, Margaret grew up in San Francisco and has worked in the animal care field for more than 40 years. She loves working with clients at the hospital and feels they are part of her extended family.

Margaret shares her home with a number of dogs and birds. Dobermans are her favorite breed and she especially enjoys the companionship of her two senior Dobermans. She is also a member of the Doberman Club of Northern California.

As both our receptionist and veterinary assistant, Nikki is responsible for answering phones, scheduling appointments and assisting our technicians and doctors with patient care. She especially loves interacting with pets and helping our clients provide the best care possible for their faithful companions. Nikki is pursuing her Bachelor's degree in Zoology with a minor in music and plans to become a registered veterinary technician following graduation. She joined our team in August 2014.

"I love how busy the clinic is," she said. "I've met a lot of great clients and awesome pets. It's fast-paced and I never get bored."

When not at work or school, Nikki pet sits and volunteers for "Taking it to the Streets," an organization that helps homeless people and their pets. She enjoys music, reading, exploring the Bay Area, video games and hanging out with her rescued Pit Bull, Biggie.
