Veterinary Technicians

Head veterinary technician in charge of operations, Christina Oliverius joined the Park Animal Hospital staff in 2001. She is proud of the high-quality, professional care offered at the hospital and enjoys working with animals. She shares her home with two cats, Jezebelle and Tullulah.

Originally from Connecticut, veterinary technician Kirk Rettberg has been part of the Park Animal Hospital staff since 1996. Kirk's animal companions include three cats, Babette, Zappa and Miles.

West Virginia native Carol Cullen joined the Park Animal Hospital staff as a veterinary technician in 2007. She enjoys the challenge and rewards that come with working with clients and their pets at the hospital. Carol attended the University of California at Santa Barbara and received a Bachelor's Degree in Zoology in 2003. She went on to Consumnes River College and completed work on her Associate's Degree in Veterinary Technology in 2007. She shares her home with a cat named Oliver. Outside of work, she enjoys reading and spending time outdoors.

Veterinary assistant Huy Luong has helped care for pets at Park Animal Hospital since 2007. He is proud to be part of the hospital's caring staff and likes working with animals. Huy is attending the City College of San Francisco and is majoring in Biological Sciences. He shares his home with a Dachshund named Torpedo and a number of fish. When he's not at the hospital, Huy is an avid dragonboater and is a long-time member of the Suen Feng Loon Dragonboat Team.

Veterinary Technician Gilbert Bravo joined the Park Animal Hospital staff in 2009 and has enjoyed working with animals for over eight years. He says that working at Park Animal Hospital is made even better by the supportive staff, who care as much about each other as they do the animals. Gilbert shares his home with a young orange Tabby named Mammom and likes attending art shows, reading horror novels and going to wine tastings.
