Veterinary Technicians

Christina Oliverius

Head veterinary technician in charge of operations, Christina Oliverius joined the Park Animal Hospital staff in 2001. She is proud of the high-quality, professional care offered at the hospital and enjoys working with animals. She shares her home with two cats, Jezebelle and Tullulah.

Nami Eaton

A registered veterinary technician at Park Animal Hospital since 2006, and head veterinary technician in charge of medicine and surgery for the past year, Nami O. Eaton is originally from Tokyo. She attended San Jose State University, where she received her Bachelor's Degree in Psychology, and Western Career College, where she received her Associate's Degree in Veterinary Technology. Nami is a member of the Bay Area Veterinary Technician Association. At home, Nami enjoys the companionship of a dog named Sasha and two cats, Mina and Pami. Outside work, she enjoys salsa dancing, skiing, cooking and reading.

Kirk William Rettberg

Originally from Connecticut, veterinary technician Kirk Rettberg has been part of the Park Animal Hospital staff since 1996. Kirk's animal companions include three cats, Babette, Zappa and Miles.

Carol Cullen

West Virginia native Carol Cullen joined the Park Animal Hospital staff as a veterinary technician in 2007. She enjoys the challenge and rewards that come with working with clients and their pets at the hospital. Carol attended the University of California at Santa Barbara and received a Bachelor's Degree in Zoology in 2003. She went on to Consumnes River College and completed work on her Associate's Degree in Veterinary Technology in 2007. She shares her home with a cat named Oliver. Outside of work, she enjoys reading and spending time outdoors.

Liz Carbone

Originally from San Francisco, veterinary assistant Liz Carbone joined the Park Animal Hospital staff in 2007. Liz attended the University of California, Berkeley and received her Bachelor's Degree in Molecular Environmental Biology in 2006. Liz loves the hospital's friendly atmosphere, and her work here has encouraged her to pursue her goal of becoming a veterinarian.

Liz's animal companions include a cat named Daisy and a dog named Winston. When she's not at the hospital, Liz enjoys singing in the shower, dancing, knitting, listening to NPR and watching the San Francisco fog.

Huy Luong

Veterinary assistant Huy Luong has helped care for pets at Park Animal Hospital since 2007. He is proud to be part of the hospital's caring staff and likes working with animals. Huy is attending the City College of San Francisco and is majoring in Biological Sciences. He shares his home with a Dachshund named Torpedo and a number of fish. When he's not at the hospital, Huy is an avid dragonboater and is a long-time member of the Suen Feng Loon Dragonboat Team.
