Receptionists

The office manager at Park Animal Hospital since 1985, Margaret Salfen grew up in San Francisco and has worked in the animal-care field for more than 40 years. Margaret loves working with clients at the hospital and feels they are part of her extended family. She shares her home with a number of dogs and birds. Dobermans are her favorite breed and she especially enjoys the companionship of her two senior Dobermans. She is also a member of the Doberman Club of Northern California.

A receptionist and veterinary technician at Park Animal Hospital since 2006, Bonnie Marion grew up everywhere from Alaska to Mississippi. She loves working with the caring staff and veterinarians and is glad to work with animals every day. Bonnie attended San Francisco State University and received her Bachelor's Degree in Theater in 2005. Her animal companions include three cats, Ritzu, Ringo and Aya. When she's not caring for pets in the hospital, Bonnie is on stage, singing, dancing and acting. She also enjoys horseback riding, reading and shoe shopping.

A receptionist at Park Animal Hospital since 1998, Susan Mittel has worked in the animal care field for more than 10 years. Susan loves interacting with clients and their animal companions, sharing treats and stories. She especially enjoys watching the puppies and kittens who come into the hospital grow into their special spirits. She shares her home with three cats, Pearl, Wallace and Mighty, and a dog named Bambi Jean. Outside of work, Susan can be found gardening, making jewelry, exploring metaphysics and painting.

Receptionist and veterinary technician Heather Snow has more than 10 years experience in the animal care field. She joined the Park Animal Hospital staff in 2000 and is proud to work with the friendly staff and caring veterinarians.
Heather's animal companions include three cats, Boris, Natasha and Little Bug, and two dogs, Shunka and Chelsea. She enjoys spending time with her son, gardening, cooking, going to the gym and spending time outside with her son and her dogs.
